CONTEXT
Virgin Money partnered with Deloitte Digital to deliver a refreshed digital presence, a flexible design system, and set of core templates that translates across web and mobile app for a seamless digital experience. Virgin Money's existing site at the time was outdated, inundated with hidden disclaimers and customer's number one complaint was that there was no mobile app to manage their finances.

Virgin Money's website and app have been designed with a people-centric focus. All content has been surfaced through design to be transparent and honest, and create authenticity. Virgin Money's digital presence is innovative and daring yet supportive and educational to empower users and build trust. This is the foundational design principle across all areas of the website and mobile application and this is how the designs will visually differentiate Virgin Money Australia
Access to information for all, was inherently important across the web and app experience, thus all design and build decisions were made with AA+ accessibility in mind.
WEBSITE DESIGN
Virgin Money sits within an iconic family of brands and legacy. The website was designed, boasting the approachable energy of Virgin Money whilst also being trustworthy, and lifting its competitve products. The website aims to drive aquisition and conversion through transparent content, and logical streamlined path to purchase. In doing so, we created a site that was intuitive, personalised and effective digital touchpoint, that educated and empowered users.
MOBILE APP
The MVP mobile app extended the design system, tailored to the intricacies of mobile app experiences.
OUTCOME
In 10 sprints we delivered a base-line digital design system for Virgin Money integrated enabled by Sitecore, that allowed their internal team to develop and publish content for the website, as well as a MVP app and backlog of features, that came out of usability testing. Virgin Money website was award Gold in 2017 DRIVENxDESIGN Awards.
